Dr Adel Bou Saba

Our Specialist Orthodontist Dr Adel Bou Saba is dedicated to providing his patients with the highest quality of care in a friendly and modern environment. He is committed to continuing professional development and education and attends seminars and conferences regularly in order to keep abreast of the latest innovations in orthodontics.

Along with his on-going professional development and his specific orthodontic qualifications and experience, Dr Bou Saba is able to provide the expert care that gives patients healthy straight teeth, optimal facial balance and thus enhanced self-esteem.

Dr Bou Saba has been practising orthodontics exclusively since 1995 when he started his specialist training in France. He worked previously as an orthodontic consultant at St. Peter’s University Hospital in Brussels. Prior to that he worked as an associate orthodontist at Argenteuil university hospital in Paris.

Dr Bou Saba successfully completed his specialist orthodontic training in 1998. He obtained in 1995 the Certificate of Higher Education in Anatomy and Physiology (CES A) from the University of Bordeaux, in 1997 the Certificate of Higher Education in Orthodontics (CES ODF) from the University of Paris 7, and in 1998 the Diploma of Paediatric Orthodontics (DUOP) from the University of Paris 6.

He initially qualified as a dentist in 1994 at St Joseph University, Lebanon. In 2001 he gained the LSD degree from the ULB University in Brussels where he graduated with high honours and was awarded the Braban medal. Dr Bou Saba has gained valuable work experience by providing orthodontic treatment in hospitals and university departments. His special skills include the use of lingual braces and invisible braces.

Memberships and Associations
He is a member of the British Orthodontic Society, The British Lingual Orthodontic Society, the British Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, and the World Federation of Orthodontists. Dr Bou Saba is the former chair of the Barnet Local Dental Committee.

Ioana Balanel

Orthodontic Therapist

Ioana has been working at Brace Place since December 2013. She initially started working as a dental nurse, then progressed to orthodontic nurse and then to orthodontic therapist. She completed her orthodontic nursing diploma from Kings College and her orthodontic therapy from the University of Manchester.

Malihe Rahimi Dadmarzi

Orthodontic Nurse

Malihe has been working as an orthodontic nurse at Brace Place since July 2019. She previously had orthodontic treatment at our practice and completed two years’ experience as a dental nurse. She completed her diploma in orthodontic nursing from Kings college in March 2021. She finished her dental nursing course with Tempdent in 2018.

Gelareh Haghi Ashtiani

Dental Hygienist

Awarded Hygienist of the Year Finalist for London by the Dentistry Awards 2022 and by the Private Dentistry Awards 2022

Gelareh is an overseas dentist and has completed her Masters in Dental Public Health from Queen Mary University of London. She is a doctoral researcher in Paediatric Dentistry and Radiography at Queen Mary University.  She has completed the qualification for dental hygiene and is working part-time as a dental hygienist.

Nidal Saba

Practice Manager

Nidal has been managing the practice since 2009. She previously worked in the banking sector and holds a Masters in Economics.
